Support

Bukit · a language app for Indonesian, Spanish and French

Bukit is made by one person, so support is an email address rather than a helpdesk. Write to [email protected] and you will get a reply from the person who wrote the app.

Things worth trying first

A song’s words are out of time with the video. Some songs are timed against the recording word by word and some only have community timings, which can drift. Tell me which song and roughly how far out it is, and I can re-time it.

A song has no English. A few songs show only some lines in English, or none. That is deliberate rather than broken — a complete translation of a copyrighted song is not something the app can ship, so those songs carry the lines worth studying instead.

Chat says the week’s conversations are used up. The free plan includes five conversations a week; it resets weekly and the app shows when.

The voice sounds robotic. iOS ships a basic voice and a better one you have to download: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → your language → pick an Enhanced or Premium voice. Bukit uses the best one installed automatically.

You want your data deleted. Settings → Delete account and data does it immediately. See Privacy.

Reporting something wrong

The most useful report says what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead — plus your iOS version and whether it happens every time. A screenshot is worth a paragraph.
